This election turned out to be a fight between David and the Golia type of a situation where the Prime Minister incumbent Prime Minister with us so much popularity and support was fighting with a with Rahul Gandhi Rahul Gandhi cannot be described in words you have to understand him and I were definitely cannot describe what I really feel pity else even post this debacle for Congress they are not ready to shun the Gandhi family and the CWC meeting had all Congressmen licking and working in a cliched fan of fashion with the Gandhi family and begging Rahul Gandhi to continue which you will continue I suppose it’s just a drama and a hogwash this election has been historic in a lot of a lot of skylines of fiefdom and have fallen down load of second generation third generation leaders who are presenting their constituencies and felt that they were the only inheritor of that legacy were dropped by the public beta Rahul Gandhi in Amethi beat Jyotiraditya Scindia on Gaana or those son of Ashok Gehlot or Jitin Prasad, Milind Deora , it’s not a surprising that all of them were from Congress not only has the dynastic politics taking up big beating this time but the family politics of the regional parties have also been a question specially so in the Uttar Pradesh scenario where the Yadav clan was fielding most of us cousins and family members throughout the UP and Yadav dominated areas half of them this time have more than half actually have been decimated ,be it dimple Yadav Akshay Yadav dharmendra Yadav .This was also seen in Karnataka and Telangana where KCR’s daughter lost MP election and all the family members of Dewegauda including himself except one family member ,lost elections .

This minority consolidation against BJP could very well turn into a majority consolidation of even the existing vote banks of regional parties moving towards BJP . Another interesting takeaway from this election has been that MK Stalin is now the natural leader of DMK in south end but Akhilesh has been a big failure to Samajwadi party as the two election which he has fought after dumping his dad he has come out as a loser in both the cases be it his alliance with Rahul Gandhi in the state elections of 2017 or bending backwards to get an alliance with Mayawati in this Lok Sabha election Mayawati clearly showed him that who is the boss in this election and this did not augur well with the Yadav vote bank which was solidly voting behind Yadav clan a lot of voice of dissent among the typical Yadav the grossly grassroot was heard of Akhilesh going to the wishes of Mayawati and victories against The very fabric of society in the lower strata where Jatavs and the Yadavs are at loggerheads so if a Yadav is bending backwards in front of a Jatav the ground level worker feels cheated . On the other hand the major opposition supposedly pan Indian opposition party Congress is heading to words a downfall on a daily basis with a very insensitive and bereft of common sense leadership lack off trust and and most important that fire in the belly to win the election is clearly seen as missing I feel the leadership ideas are not able to flow to the bottom and the organisation to deliver it is totally crumbled there can be multiple reason for crumbling of the organisation may be because it is not an ideological party they can only give when they are in power and you cant give something if you don’t have power and you can’t give anything to your organisation which is quite opposite to bjp Which is the ideological-based party with a huge Committed base of volunteers . If Modi and Shah work in a similar fashion for next five years I don’t think so they’ll be any credible opposition in the next election as well. To take on them they will again have a home run Another take in this election has been the decimation of AAP style of politics by all the result can be seen in all job candidate coming to a distant second and third in Delhi in spite of trying all the dirty tricks and even Kanhaiya Kumar faring poorly in Begusarai election people like Prakash Raj got less than 30,000 votes in Karnataka proves that just to be on the critic of the government and questioning everything can give you eyeballs but not the votes ,to get mandate you come out with the an agenda of an improvement and some credibility as well .
Interesting thing to lost in this election was the role of media I haven’t seen it clear cut divide as blatant as it was this time in the media either they were pro-Modi or they were anti-Modi . Not a single channel was doing it objectively of reporting without any basis it reminded me of the Hillary versus Trump election where again the media was totally divided probably India is also facing same form of elections we we might be a federal structure but it looked like it was more of a presidential form of government with Modi and Rahul Gandhi is the head of two parties in the coming time as well I feel it will be fought on similar lines that is “personality centric” .
I strongly feel that this election is the last election which was fought on TV the coming elections will be all fought in digital media so that tons of TV news channels which have cropped up and trying to cobble up third-rate politicians as political analyst time is over ,there will probably be fewer channels but the existing channels will also be focusing more on the digital medium rather than the conventional cable network because people are viewing more and more content through their handheld rather than on a television . Really feel sorry for TV anchors who have started thinking themselves as demigods ,your days are numbered

My take is that the role of regional players should and will get reduce and congress is the only alternative in pan indian parties . But for how long will the grand old Congress party been in a state of denial and accept the reality that Gandhi’s are no longer the vote catchers and in fact there are a liability right now because they represent everything which the new resurgent India hates ie dynastic politics And corruption leaders need to be choosing based on merit rather than the lineage lineage should be able to just help you out in opening the door but it has to be based on merit at some point if you can’t nurture talent then somebody else will nurture them ..Another point which the Congress needs to ponder is that in three states ex-Congressmen like Jagan Reddy in Andhra ,KC Rao in Telangana and Mamata Banerjee have been able to corner about 65 seats ,more than Congress combine strength in all of India .these people felt Stiffel in the Congress and thereby created regional outfit and took away the congress space . Congress could not hold these regional satrap and thus they created their own outfits and almost finished Congress in these states . And those are the only three states besides Kerala where BJP had some resistance or probably got less than 50% of seats in rest all over the India their vote share and their number of seats was more than 60%
