There is a lot of focus in media about the Gujarat poll for 2017 .Every time there is an election in Gujarat the media start hyping it up and try to create a contest . I feel that its a fight between un equals . Congress has never stood a chance in last 22 years since BJP has come to power . Congress in last so many decades has been harping on the communal plank and that rhetoric has failed miserably and infact turned into the favor for NAMO. This time they are trying to run the election campaign on anti Modi, BJP policies like GST/Demonetization and cobble up the Patidar/OBC/SC ST non congress and anti BJP leadership. There are a couple of basic reasons for my prediction. Congress has not been able to prop a credible leader against the charisma of NAMO when on the contrary Modi raises the bar and his connect with electorate is unmatched. Nehru Gandhi dynasty is epitome of political ruling class of post independence india . Out of almost 70 years of post independent indian polity they have ruled between their family and through their proxies for more than 50 years . Nehru became the first PM of independent india and than his daughter Indira "Gandhi" ruled india with iron fist till '84 but for a brief stint of '77-'80. and than his son was forced into it post her gruesome murder and Rajiv ruled for another five years till '89 . There was again a brief period of three years of government of a motley crew of opposition and than again congress came to power in '91 . Lately it has been seen that the courts and specifically supreme courts have been giving judgement on very frivolous grounds and that too at times  "suo moto" as well . The judiciary in india anyhow acts as if they are the Gods gift to india , Even the senior lawyers behave in similar fashion . The senior lawyer have been running the country since independence be it Nehru , Gandhi to the current breed of Jaitley , Ravi Shankar Prasad , P Chidambaram , Kapil Sibal , Salman Khurshid , Abhishek Manu Singhvi ,Prashant Bhushan etc etc . They act as a club where a senior or judge is nominated based on a collegium which is basically the membership of the club . Yesterday only there has been a judgement by Supreme court that no fire crackers can be sold in NCR region to contain pollution .
